Sara A. Law Memorial Softball Complex - Pitt County Girls Softball League, Inc.

The Sara A. Law Memorial Softball Complex is home to not only the Pitt County Girls Softball League, but hosts numerous youth fastpitch softball tournaments.  Pitt County Girls Softball League, Inc. (aka PCGSL) is a non-profit corporation with the mission to provide recreational softball programs for young girls across Pitt County.  After securing a 20-acre parcel of land, PCGSL engaged Rivers to assist with the planning, design and construction management of a softball complex designed specifically for youth fastpitch softball play.  Implementation of the master plan created a complex designed to accommodate recreational play as well as high-level youth tournament competition.  The initial phase included a lighted 4-field competition softball complex with clay-based infields and irrigated Bermuda turf, a small but functional concession stand, restroom facilities, maintenance/storage facilities, pedestrian hardscapes, landscaping and parking facilities, as well as off-site / on-site utilities and stormwater accommodations.
