Hooker Road Widening

Designated as one of the strategic roadways within the city, this project improved an existing two-lane roadway with side ditches that once was located outside of the city limits into a multi-lane thoroughfare. Rivers provided survey and engineering services for the 1.8-mile project which included roadway widening, associated drainage improvements and utility coordination. Commercial sections of the roadway were designed with a 5-lane pavement section while residential areas were designed with a raised vegetated center median.
