VA Super Outpatient Clinic

Gilbane Development Company was awarded a contract by the US Department of Veterans Affairs to build, maintain and lease a new Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic.  Rivers was selected to team with the developer of the project to provide civil engineering, landscape architecture and surveying services for site development.  The super outpatient clinic was constructed on a 12-acre parcel within University Medical Park North, located near East Carolina University’s Health Sciences Campus and Vidant Medical Center.  The new clinic, containing 116,000 SF and capacity to serve 20,000 veterans annually, provides primary care, mental health, prosthetics and physical therapy services, along with specialty and ancillary services.
