East Carolina Heart Institute at Vidant Medical Center

As part of continuing efforts to create a unified campus appearance for new building construction, Rivers was engaged to expand upon previous design work completed for the Moye Boulevard relocation project to design a landscape for the new Eastern Carolina Heart Institute (ECHI). This project involved planting and irrigation design to compliment the ECHI building, drives, and pedestrian areas. A cafeteria courtyard consisting of shade tolerant plant material was installed to provide a comfortable seating area for visitors, patients, and staff.
