Resident Project Representative / Construction Inspector (Greenville, NC Office)

Rivers & Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Resident Project Representative for the Greenville, NC office. Candidates are responsible for daily project representation/inspection for the construction of water, sewer, drainage and roadway projects in eastern North Carolina. Experience with reinforced concrete structures, piping and general construction procedures is preferred.

The successful candidate will implement field and office procedures, be proficient in verbal communication with field and office personnel, and routinely write inspection reports and other miscellaneous correspondence. Computer skills and ability to comprehend and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts are required.

A Bachelor of Science or Associate degree in construction management, planning, or engineering field is preferred with two (2) years of design or construction related experience. Certification by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies is not required but considered a plus.
