STORMWATER PROJECTS
Stormwater Master Plan, Town of Swansboro, NC
Prepared Clean Water Management Trust Fund (CWMTF) grant application for preparation of a Preliminary Engineering Report for the Stormwater/Sediment Basin Improvements. Funds were secured from CWMTF and NC Division of Coastal Management.
General Obligation Bond Drainage Improvements, City of Greenville, NC
Storm drainage improvements project consisting of over a one-third square mile watershed within the Tar-Pamlico River Basin. Due to deteriorating infrastructure and overloaded pipe systems, a hydrologic and hydraulic drainage study, analysis, and design was completed for the City of Greenville.
Drainage Improvements, Martin Community College, Williamston, NC
Rivers provided the stormwater infrastructure
improvements plans for the campus of Martin Community College located within the Roanoke River Basin. A Preliminary Engineering Report was completed with hydraulic recommendations and cost estimates.
Stormwater Management Improvements Evaluations, Town of Kitty Hawk, NC
Rivers services included an evaluation of conclusions and recommendations made based upon information contained in a previous report and a supplemental report prepared for the Town.
Stormwater Drainage Feasibility Study, City of Washington, NC
Rivers assisted with the grant application to the NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources Water Resources Development Project Grant Program. The City was awarded the grant and as a result, Rivers conducted the study.
Bowen Farm Site Improvements, Pitt Community College, Winterville, NC Rivers provided the surveying, engineering and technical specifications for of approximately 3,000LF of street and utility improvements to serve the future development of the Pitt Community College campus.
ROADWAY AND THOROUGHFARE PROJECTS
Gordon Street & Streetscape Improvements, Town of Beaufort, North Carolina
Rivers conducted the surveying, design and construction administration for the street improvements project consisting of 800 LF of new water, sewer and storm water utilities, as well as new street and sidewalks.
Rivers conducted the engineering, surveying and technical services for street repairs/renovation, drainage repairs/renovation and street resurfacing.
Moye Blvd Relocation & Landscape Plan, Greenville, NC To accommodate the new East Carolina Heart Institute (ECHI), PCMH designers relocated Moye Boulevard by moving five boulevard lanes to the east in a gradual curve behind a new Central Utility Plant (CUP) and in front of the child care center and the Ronald McDonald House, where it joins the existing route.
Street Improvements, Town of Clayton, NC
Rivers provide the study, preliminary and final designs, the bidding and construction administration and inspection for the redesign and improvements of four town streets.
Main Street Streetscape Improvements, City of Elizabeth City, NC The project consists of the renovation of the street, sidewalks, crosswalks, and the addition of new site amenities along Main Street from Martin Street to Road Street in Elizabeth City. The addition of new decorative street lights, benches, and trash receptacles is also included in the initial scope.
